Ceramic Stoves
The original ceramic stoves form THUN are designed and manufactured to the solid principles dell'artigianto: A work carried out with full respect for the tradition of the "majolica" ceramic stove, originated in Tyrol (North Italy) and reinterpreted in new ways every day, in terms of stylistic and functional desing. A tradition which THUN is devoted since 1950.
THE ADVANTAGES OF A CERAMIC STOVE
Our stoves give wellness, stimulates our senses and the speading, a climate of serenity in our home. It is in fact shown that the heat given by radiation of a ceramic stove stimulates blood circulation and lowers blood pressure, it also doesn't move the dust and is therefore particularly suitable for people with allergies to dust. The heat produced by the radiation of our stoves is similar to that of the sun, it penetrates our skin for about 4 mm and is therefore considered one of the best sources of heating available today. The stoves sold by us from Thun also available as pellets, and waterheating, saving you about 30/40% on heating costs.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The core of the stove consists of a cast iron heating body, which combined with the ceramic surface send radiation of heat through the air, this means that there is no air to be heated, but the objects that surround the stove. this is the only type of heating system that alows you to open the windows without loosing the heat of the room. It is a fantastic and enveloping warmth that has no equal. The ceramic tiles reaches 60/80 degrees centigrade, the stove must be fueld only 2 or 3 times a day and has a heating capacity of 350 cubic meters. The hot combusted smoke run inside the stove in a forced path more or less long before entering the chimney, this means that all the energy of the hot gases is transferred to the ceramic stove, which then pass it to the room . The fumes entering the chimney in fact have a relatively low temperature around 200/250 degrees Celsius.
